Rossignol Famous: New carving skis for the ladies

The new "Famous" models from Rossignol replace the previous "Unique" models. In the process, they have been technologically enhanced and equipped with the new "Prop Tip" technology. This is to make the swing with the skis even easier, but just as stable. Try it out!

The "Famous" model series is being relaunched this winter and replaces the former "Unique" line. Rossignol has been designing women-specific skis for years that accommodate women's anatomy in terms of shape, construction and choice of materials. The new models have been equipped with new technology.

This is the new "Prop Tip" technology, which is used for the first time in women's skis. This refers to the new construction of the tip and tail of the ski with a honeycomb-like structure filled with air. This makes the ski ends lighter and shifts the weight toward the center of the ski, making it easier to turn. The skis are more maneuverable and the turn becomes easier, but stability is maintained.

Zusätzlich sorgt der „Power Turn”-Rocker für Auftrieb und Schwungerleichterung. Beim Power Turn Rocker handelt es sich um einen geringen Rocker (Rocker=Skiaufbiegung) von 10% an der Schaufel. Damit ist die Sportlichkeit der Ski gewährt. Für das geringe Gewicht ist massgeblich der Holzkern aus dem ultraleichten Paulownia-Holz verantwortlich. Die Famous-Modelle sind schnell, sportlich, leicht, weiblich und 100%ige Pistenmodelle für Frauen. Die Modelle unterscheiden sich in ihrer Optik, in ihren Massen, ihrem Gewicht, ihrer Konstruktion und dem unverbindlichen Preis des Herstellers (UVP).
