Wendy Holdener griff nach ihr ins Renngeschehen ein und lag zwischenzeitlich zurück, drehte dann aber noch einmal auf und war am Schluss eine Hundertstelsekunde schneller als Hansdotter. Die Österreicherin, Katharina Gallhuber, lieferte einen überragenden ersten Lauf ab, den sie als vierte beendete, konnte die gute Leistung jedoch nicht ein zweites Mal abrufen und fiel auf Schlussrang sieben zurück.
